The VDX Media Toronto office is looking for a seasoned leader, known to create value anywhere. We are looking for someone who can harness creative thinking and deliver results.
You can execute quickly and manage your time and your team effectively. Your team is a reflection of you. The team you lead will develop and cultivate all creative content and determine the optimal approach to achieving our clients’ business objectives. You understand creative problem solving and having a passing for generating compelling solutions for clients – focusing on social platforms and pushing stories that best support brand strategies.
The Role
- Create industry moving creative outcomes, aligning strategy with our clients’ business goals and objectives
- Define the scope and approach of each project and manage execution of major project delivery to completion
- Work with a copy Associate Creative Director partner to manage a full creative team of 8-10+ people, including designers, writers and content managers
- Developing a positive relationships among the internal brand teams, the creative division, other partner agency and clients
- Running the development and delivery of creative solutions, this includes content work to larger campaign initiatives for various clients
- Partner with the Executive Creative Director to promote awareness around design and trends
- Regularly attending client meetings to communicate creative vision and processes, bringing stellar presentation skills to the table
- Seeking the next big opportunity in social media for your brands
- Leading brainstorming workshops/seminars and actively participating during inter-agency ideation sessions as the face of your brands
The Requirements
- 5-7+ years experience at any known agency, design boutique or media company
- Undergraduate degree or entrepreneurial street credentials in Marketing, Advertising, Creative Writing, Fine Arts or related field or equivalent copy/design and management experience
- Strong portfolio of digitally focused work
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Prior management experience with creative and technical teams of five or more
- Experience with the following: Facebook tabs, templates, mobile apps, content creation processes, asset development, social sweeps projects and work with tie-ins to the shopper
- A strong fundamental understanding of information architecture and effective usability techniques
